William Ashcroft – Founder & Chief Executive Officer
William Ashcroft is the visionary behind Jumpjet and has an aviation background with seventeen years in rotary wing operations. He has been featured on NBC.com, CNN, Barrons, AOPA and USA Today. He has been seen in several productions including Disney’s Voyage to Atlantis. William has more than 3,000 incident-free and accident-free flight hours of rotor wing flight time including film, heavy lift, medical transport and VIP offshore. He has flown multiple helicopter types including the Bell 206 and 407, Augusta 109 and DauphinN2. William is an avid cyclist and former rugby player. William has advised and created companies in industries including: Sports (Rugby), Tech, luxury real estate and aviation sectors on marketing and business development. He owned the helicopter concession at the Atlantis hotel and Ocean Club in Nassau and NMLR Rescue helicopter services. William grew up in England and attended the Stowe School.
Brandon Roth – Chief Operating Officer
Brandon joins Jumpjet with more than twenty years of complex project management and marketing design in New York City. Some of those projects include building the Royal Jordanian Airlines Headquarters, club “Malibu” the Empire Hotel at Lincoln Center and the Carlton Hotel; Internationally known specialty shops and retailers for the likes of Ralph Lauren, Laura Biagiotti, Comp USA, Sergio Valente and Giorgio Armani; Brandon was responsible for the renovation of a Park Avenue building for GE Capital; restaurants for Daniel Boulud, Cipriani, Francois Payard; Brandon has been written about in the New York Times, Newsday, New York Construction News, Interior Design and two books. Brandon holds a BS in International Finance and Marketing from the University of Miami with Honors.
Bill Wasserman – Director of Flight Planning
With 13,000 flight hours Bill is a former JetBlue pilot who has flown both commercial airline and charter flights. Bill has captained the Airbus A320 as well as several different types of business jets on both domestic and international routes. He has flown Citation, Hawker, Falcon, Lear Jets, Challengers, Westwinds and Airbus aircraft.
Jonathan McCone – Director of Aircraft Charter Buying
A lifelong resident of the Washington D.C area Jon brings more than 15 years of aircraft charter experience to Jumpjet. Jon holds one of the few 135 charter certificates in the Washington D.C restricted airspace. He is a twin engine charter pilot flying King Airs and has taught hundreds of students how to fly over his 10 year career. He is passionate about aviation and has more than 2800 hours of flight time.
James Garner – Aircraft Routing Technology Manager
Chip has a thirty year career in building and writing complex technologies. He has been a Functional manager providing systems engineering, analysis and software support to several NASA and DOD programs. Chip was also a Project Manager of TRW’s efforts for the DOE Multi-Megawatt space nuclear power program. He was the Section Head, Design Analysis Section, TRW Space and Technology Group where he performed conceptual design, systems engineering, neutronics, heat transfer, thermal hydraulic and structural analysis in support of diverse projects including: The Space Station Solar Dynamic Power Systems Study, the FINESSE fusion technology development program, the Fusion Breeder Program and the X-Ray Laser Program. Chip is also the current National 15 Meter sailplane racing champion.
Jeff Silver – Finance
Jeff is the Managing Partner of Ridgeline Partners, Ltd. (2006-Present), a merchant banking firm that assists emerging growth companies with CFO, corporate finance, and business development activities. Currently, Jeff assists Jumpjet with corporate finance related activities and is a shareholder and CFO for Magnetic Communications, Inc. (2012 – present), a new social media company, and shareholder and CFO of Ecospan LLC (2006 – present), a material science design development and manufacturing company producing durable goods made from bio-based plastics. Prior roles included investment banking and merger & acquisition positions with Merrill Lynch in New York and Montgomery Securities in San Francisco. Jeff has an MBA from UCLA Anderson and a BBA from the University of San Diego.
Brett Ross – National Sales
Brett Ross is a Senior Sales Executive with expertise in operations, marketing, branding, and strategic partnerships. In the past several years he has worked and focused on projects specifically within the entertainment, motorsports and aviation industries. Past clients and projects have included work with Championship Auto Racing Teams, Inc (CART), IndyCar, Tom Walkinshaw Racing–US, Renault Sport Technologies-France and the Grand American Road Racing Association. In aviation his clients have included Universal Jet. He is a member of CABAA (Chicago Area Business Aviation Association) and sits on the Board of Directors for the “Compassion & Hope” Charity. Brett has a degree in Political Science and Psychology from Kent State University.
Martin Clarke – Advisor
Martin joins the Jumpjet team with over thirty five years of aviation experience and more than 18,000 hours of flight time. Twenty five of those years have been spent with one of the largest airlines in the world. He has been a captain and has managed flight operations through some of the most difficult situations in aviation. He has experience flying international routes and is type rated on the following aircraft : Boeing 777-767-727, BA 146 and MD80 . He has also flown private jets including Lear and Citation. He is a qualified instructor and holds his CFII, MEI, and is rated as an aerobatic instructor. Martin has a Bachelor’s degree in Aeronautical Science from Embry Riddle Aeronautical University. In his spare time Martin can be found flying the skies in his own Christen Eagle Bi-Plane.
Len Moscati – Advisor
Len Moscati brings more than 30 years of experience in Global Capital Markets and Investment Banking to Jumpjet’s board. Mr. Moscati is currently a Managing Director at Barclays Capital. He is responsible for developing senior level relationships and is a trusted strategic advisor to the firm’s key clients. He has played a pivotal role in winning significant mandates and strategic transactions for the firm and driving long-term revenue growth. Mr. Moscati‘s Group reports directly to the President of Barclays Capital. Prior to Barclays Capital, Mr. Moscati spent 17 years at Morgan Stanley where he was a Managing Director in the Institutional Securities Division. Mr. Moscati started his career with L.F. Rothschild followed by Smith Barney Harris Upham. Mr. Moscati received a B.S. (B.A.) degree in Economics from Manhattan College and an MBA in Finance degree from Pace University. He currently lives in Greenwich, Connecticut.
